Since we weren't able to swim the day before, we HAD to make sure we found a beach that we were allowed to swim at. Leos looked on his phone and found a beach that we would have to pay to enter, but we could swim. It's hard for me to think about paying for a beach since I'm from California, but we really wanted to swim. We decided to take a bus to the beach and it was a great way to see the area. It was really cheap to take the bus and the bus came on time. We had to pay 3bhd/each for the beach, but we were happy to finally have a place to swim. The water was nice and it was relaxing to be on the beach. Around the corner was a hotel with a lot more people, so I am happy that we found the place that we did. After the beach we walked to Dragon City. We found out it was just an Asian mall. It was quite random. We watched the sunset and then took the bus back to the hotel. For dinner we walked to the downtown area and found a great restaurant. The food was so good and the price was really good as well. After dinner we walked around and found a store that was selling traditional halwa. The thing I liked the most about the place was that we were able to sample the halwa before purchasing it. We really like the yellow one because it had saffron. It was such a nice flavor and it was warm. After we bought a big container of it, the seller gave us a little cup of it and some coffee. It was so sweet, but so good!! It was a good thing we walked back to the hotel to burn all those calories! (photos are not in order, first are mine and then Leos's photos)
Leos couldn't get beer at the store, so we tried this
