Before Covid, I organized a lot of picnics. I thought it was about time, I organized another one. At the last GGI dinner I attended, I spoke with the organizer and suggested that we co-host a picnic. We chose a park that was close to both of us and would be easy for attendees to find us. There was a restaurant that we could order drinks from and also use their toilet. It was the perfect park and we had all the space we needed. Everyone brought snacks to share, but only 2 of us brought food we cooked. My brownies disappeared, which made me very happy. I think next time we will have a potluck picnic, so we can try foods from different countries and cultures. We did a lot of chatting and all did our best to remember everyone's name. Towards the end, some of us played UNO Flip and had a great time. It was a beautiful afternoon and a great day for a picnic. Thank you to all those who attended!! We will do it again soon!
