Laotian Village (Javouhey) in Guyane

First I started the day with a nice walk in a forest.  The first thing we saw was a snake, and only 5 minutes after starting the walk, so I thought that we were going to see a lot of animals.  However, that wasn't the case.  Then we had lunch in a Laotian Village.  It was funny because we had vietnamese pho and thai mango salad. After lunch we decided to swim in the river.  The first place we went, the water seemed a bit dirty, so we decided to change places.  The next place we ent to was amazing.  They had a rope that you could swing with over the river.  The owner of the place was a really nice man from Laos who was exiled after the Vietnamese War.  He shared his story in French to my friend and was very passionate about his story.  I wish I was able to understand him.  He was truly able to "walk" on water!  Then we went into Saint Laurent to get some food.  I got some sugar cakes that were made from coconut and very delicious!
