hostel life

I finally LEAVE today for Antarctica!!!!!!!!! Its been great here at the hostel. I have met so many great people while working here and I know I have made my mark here. It has been a pleasure to meet everyone and I hope that all of you enjoy the rest of your travels because I know for SURE that I will, hahaha!!! Today has FINALLY come!!

national park Tierra del Fuego

I decided to have my day off on a beautiful day!!!! I was really lucky with the weather. Blue skies, not much wind and very sunny. I went with some people from the hostel to the national park. We took a bus to the jump off point for the hike to the mountain. The hike was a bit steep and unstable but the hike was totally worth it. The view from the top was amazing!! There were 2 foxes at the top begging for food as well. Then we went on a hike to the border of Argentina and Chile. After that we went to the end of Route 3. It was such a gorgeous day with unbelieveable views. I couldnt ask for a better day off.

This morning the weather was so nice and hot that I decided to bike to the beach. However, once I got to the beach the weather completely changed!!!! It became very cloudy and windy. It was not a great time to be at the beach. The beach was beautiful, but I wish I had gone on a day that was nicer. The bike ride there was nice and the views were great so it wasnt too bad.
